New Zealand Sheep hunt
Hunt Writeup: New Zealand's wild sheep were liberated by whalers and other seamen over 150 years ago to provide a food source for any unlucky seafaring souls who found themselves stranded in the unforgiving lands of New Zealand.
Since those liberations all those years ago, the New Zealand wild sheep has become iconic as a trophy animal with it's own Safari Club International scoring class.
Our herds of sheep have been managed, culled, protected and kept safe from interference, cross-breeding and disease to ensure that our strain of this breed is a genuine and pure representation of the breed.
Hunters from throughout the world have walked the mountain to take their trophy with us and we look forward to supplying the winner of this auction the opportunity to walk the mountain in search of their own NZ Wild ram.
These rams can be hunted all year and are a great hunt in combination with our Merriam Turkey herd as we have no seasons, no tags and no bag limits.
They are most active in spring and this makes for excellent hunting.
We look forward to meeting the winner of this auction and supplying a fine NZ Ram trophy for your trophy room wall.
Your trophy will be delivered to our expediter or taxidermist to be returned to your country of origin as required.
We can supply firearms and ammunition or help you to apply for a permit to bring your own.
This hunt can have a partner or companion hunter included in share-twin or superking accommodation at no extra charges.
If extra trophies are required for partner or companion, we can negotiate these at very reasonable rates.
A family can enjoy this hunt together and we can happily arrange for accommodation to be upgraded to allow for the family to come along.
