Sitka Blacktail Hunt with Rohrer Bear Camp
Hunt Writeup: Long-time supporter and exhibitor Sam Rohrer has donated a six day hunt for a Sitka Blacktail on Kodiak Island with Rohrer Bear Camp. This Sitka Blacktail hunting adventure will take place on Kodiak Island, the 2nd largest island in the United States and home to the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge. Here you will experience the Emerald Island in all of it’s wonder from the bears, birds, whales and… the blacktail!
Living in the island’s vast mountainous areas, Kodiak is home to approximately 80,000 blacktail deer and is one of two islands in Alaska that commonly produces world class bucks!
The hunt includes all meals, cabin accommodations and transportation from Kodiak to base camp. A one night hotel stay in Kodiak may be required for this hunt and is not included in the donation. The hunter is responsible for transportation to and from Kodiak Island, Alaska as well as the license fee and tag. Additional hunt space is available at the rate of $ and a non-hunter is welcome for $. The hunt can be delayed until. No weapons permit is required for US Citizens. This is a first-class hunt with a first-class outfitter.
